We begin today’s From The Blogs with more on the Rodriguez Cuellar race. I was actually going to do a story on this, until I noticed Kos already had; it notes that Cuellar is evidently now dodging the voters in his district.
Howling Latina has an interesting post on Wal-Mart and healthcare (I hate Wal-Mart, btw).
The February Senate Forcast is up at MyDD.
Pink Dome tells us when Donna Howard will be sworn in. And, they tell us all about John Cornyn’s assy remarks in Tyler the other day. (Yeah, we were gonna blog on that too, since it was really close to home, but we decided not to. John Cornyn makes us sick).
Nate has a great post over at Common Sense about Chet Edwards’ press conference this week concerning the $12 Billion in student loan cuts.
RGV Politics has more on the arrest of a Valley school board president. More Valley election news from South Texas Chisme.
Texas Whip has a Gammage update.
Finally, VoteLaw tells us that a group called “National Popular Vote” has been formed. Interesting. Birch Bayh and John Anderson are on their advisory committee.
