Republicans Accuse McLennan Chair of Taking Sides In CD 17 GOP Matchup

The Waco Tribune has the latest on the heated primary down in CD 17:
Prominent supporters of congressional candidate Tucker Anderson are accusing longtime McLennan County Republican Party chairman M.A. Taylor of having taken sides from the beginning in an increasingly combustible GOP primary matchup between Anderson and Iraq war veteran Van Taylor.
Making their allegations days before Tuesday’s election, Anderson supporters say the county chairman has all along boosted Van Taylor, no relation. They say he broke party tradition when he publicly came out against Anderson this week by urging party members not to vote for negative campaigners, then saying in interviews he believed Anderson was campaigning negatively.
