It seems as if some of our Texas blogs (like this one) have slowed down a little bit in anticipation of some heavy election day coverage. Nevertheless, there’s plenty in this morning’s From The Blogs. (Note: New format, second new version w/ more links).

Burnt Orange Report has a great post on why you shouldn’t skip the primaries to sign Carole or Kinky’s petitions if you are a Democrat. Meanwhile, Pink Dome has a post on some shady ethics reporting by the Leininger PACs. Swing State Project also tells us that early voting numbers in CD-28 may be favoring Ciro Rodriguez.

Also, Annatopia endorses Bob Gammage. Nate, who endorses Chris Bell, also offers some other endorsements at Common Sense. And, Jim Dallas, guest blogging for Kuff while he’s out of town, tells us that the U.S. Supreme Court has decided an interesting case concerning military recruiters on college campuses.

South Texas Chisme has predictions for elections in Nueces County.

Nationally, MyDD has information on the most useful 2008 poll to date.
