Census Stories…

By Vince Leibowitz  on Mar 16, 2006 in In The News

Ah…it’s that time of year that occurs every couple of years: the release of new county population estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.

When I was in the newspaper business, I always loved it when those statistics came out. Here are a couple of stories on the numbers which are localized for specific counties, etc.

You can view an Excel (.xls) spreadsheet of the county population estimates since the 2000 census by clicking here. You can view the top counties in numerical gain here (including 13 Texas counties). And, by going here, you can get links to some other data as well.
