Lampson’s End-Of-Quarter Fund Drive

Now that the primary election is over, the clock is ticking on our campaign’s next important deadline:  the end of the fundraising quarter on March 31st.

You and I know how important it is that we bring new leadership to TX-22 and send Tom DeLay packing this November.  But to do that, we need to show the press, the pundits, and the voters that our campaign has the resources, the strength, and the momentum to go toe-to-toe with Tom DeLay every day between now and Election Day.

So today we’re launching our newest fundraising challenge:  a $50,000 goal over these next 9 days before March 31st, to help us close the quarter as strong as we possibly can.

With less than 8 months to go until the general election, people are really starting to tune into this race – not just here in Texas, but all across the country.

The storyline coming out of the primary earlier this month showed a weakened Tom DeLay struggling to hold onto support amongst Republican voters in TX-22.

Now let’s build on that storyline.  Help us show Texas and the rest of America that Tom DeLay is weak and getting weaker – and that our campaign is growing stronger by the day.

But the number of donors demonstrates our people power – the grassroots enthusiasm that translates directly into “feet on the street” and votes on Election Day.

We’ll need both – lots of dollars and lots of donors – to win.
