$500 Friday: A Success

Wow! Thanks to your kind and generous support, we were able to raise $525 for Barbara Radnofsky yesterday as a direct result of people reading this and other blogs that posted on the $500 Friday! I am so excited that, for the first time ever, we’ve been able to harness the fund-raising potential of Capitol Annex for a Democratic Candidate! Yeah!
$500 isn’t much, but for a blog with a readership like we have (about a thousand people a day or a bit more or less), it’s a good number. Thank you all SO MUCH for giving. I know Barbara Radnofsky will appreciate it.
Also, I like the idea of trying to do something for Texas candidates (and maybe others) like the $500 Friday Capitol Annex did for Barbara Radnofsky yesterday.
So, I’m going to make $500 Fridays a permanent feature of Capitol Annex. Every other Friday, I’m going to hilight a specific candidate who needs some assistance, and attempt to encourage you, dear readers, to give to that candidate. Put your nominations for who you’d like to see next in the comments.
