Rick Perry: No Hutchison Endorsement?

It never hurts to check out the opposition’s website just to see what’s going on over there.
And, interestingly enough, it seems as though there is one name noticably absent from the list of statewide elected officials endorsing Rick Perry: None other than Breck Girl herself, Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Now, it’s no surprise she wouldn’t endorse Perry because, for a while, everyone thought she was going to run against him. But now, you’d think, in the spirit of good old GOP cronyism, she’d endorse him. Not so, evidently.
I’m also thinking Kay Bailey Hutchison is, perhaps, trying to distance herself from Perry in hopes she won’t suffer from collateral damage caused by the fact that Perry’s administration has, well, sucked and that he’s likely to be defeated.
If she did endorse Perry, that’d be great, though, because she could certainly be tied to awful state he has put Texas in.
