Protesters Greet Dick Cheney In Waco

It seems as though Dick Cheney was greeted by some protesters when he came into Waco this morning to stump for Van Taylor’s campaign to unseat Chet Edwards in CD-17. No photos or real news coverage of the protest yet, but I’ll keep watching.
The video from the fund-raiser is too funny: Dick Cheney calls Van Taylor the “next congressman from the 7th District,” as opposed to the “17th District.” Oops. Maybe he should have looked at a program?
More thoughts on the video:
Ohhh…He also brought greetings from their “McClennan County Neighbor” President Bush!! And, he pronounced “Washington” “Wushinton.”
And, he sent props out to his peeps, the senators from Texas. He says his only “real job” as Vice President is presiding officer of the Senate. Evidently, unpaid lobbyist for Halliburton isn’t on his official list of duties.
