[[Hit reload often, as this is updated VERY FREQUENTLY]]OK. I finally got the webcast open and decided to liveblog it.
Wow. BAR just announced today she hit the $1 million mark in Fund-Raising! She notes a Republican friend put her at the top…
BAR notes she wants to debate Hutchison, and has had calls tonight about debates.
She notes KBH is breaking her promise to get out of DC after two terms. “When it comes to bringing home the bacon, she’s been a failure. Countries overseas get more bacon than Texas does.” Notes Texans bear a disproportionate burden of the national tax dollars.
Now, BAR is “interviewing” a voter who has made 200 personal contacts on her behalf in the last couple of months…
T.J. Baker, who is a Republican and has a political television show (on cable, I guess), is presently noting why she supports Barbara. “When I met Barbara Ann Radnofsky and I heard her values…she’s just opened up a whole new door for me.”
An activist from Galveston County is presently noting that she helped make calls to every Democrat in that county that voted in the primary to encourage them to vote for BAR in the runoff.
Latarsha Sterling, volunteer, notes: “She’s great and we need a change.”
Campaign Manager Seth Davidson’s dad just noted BAR will give KBH a “run for her money.”
Julia (last name not stated), a radio host who interviewed BAR today notes: “It’s not very often that you run into a (candidate) like this where the love just exhudes from her…”
From a very young webcast participant: “We are ready to face Kay Bailey Hutchison and we’re going to pay back her what she gets for voting against school funding!”
Now the band is going to play another set, then they’re getting to the email questions…..
The band has stopped, looks like it’s time for the questions….
No, I was wrong…band is playing another song….
OK…Well, It now looks like the band may be finished…as soon as Capitol Annex’s questions are asked, I’ll probably stop liveblogging and move on to something else:
She’s answering a question from someone on how to help if someone has never volunteered for a campaign:
Response:Â Blockwalking is a very good acquired skill, and anyone with a heart and legs can do it. Our volunteer coordinator…has been leading the charge in Austin…if you want to contact us about blockalking we can easily show you how to do it. It’s as simple as getting out there…there is a safe way to do it…. The email is volunteers@radnofsky.com.
Our Questions:
(summed up): did you ever think you’d be in a runoff against Gene Kelly?: I knew I’d be the US Senate nominee. It’s something we’ve set our mind to…we’ve enjoyed the [guest] blogging.
Next: What’s your strategy to take on KBH: The strategy is straighforward: Call for debates. She then encourages people to call non-partisan organziations and encourage them to have debates.
Ok…the band is going to play some more, so we’re ending our livebloging….

Oh Hallelujah! I’ll be able to sleep tonight. Way to go, BAR and way to go Grassroots! We gotta really turn it up to beat KBH in November. Keep up the good work here, Vince.
That was me standing next to Seth Davidson’s wife, Vince (the “voter who made 200 calls”). That was a great evening, but Borris Miles’ victory is even sweeter.
[...] Barbara Ann Radnofsky took down Gene Kelly last night and you can check out all the fun over at Capitol Annex who was live blogging her victory party. [...]
