It seems as though Tom DeLay have one political play left in him. Via UPI:
The White House is looking at a list of cost-cutting candidates to head the Office of Management and Budget, and Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas, may be on it.
Oh. My. My. My. DeLay, of course, would replace Josh Bolten, who took Andy Card’s place as Chief of Staff.
Others under consideration reportedly include Deputy OMB Director Joel Kaplan and NEC head Rob Portman.
This would be terrible for the country but good for Democrats: It’d keep DeLay in the spotlight in a whole new way.
