It’s 10:56 On A Legislative Day: Do You Know Where Your Amendments Are?

In this age of instant access, I find it hard to believe that not a single one of the more than 100 amendments to House Bills 1-5 has yet been posted on the Texas Legislative Council’s site. That’s a disgrace. I can only assume members of the House got their copies since, for some reason the live feed direct from the chamber isn’t working.
This is another reason we need some real administrative reform in the Texas House. You’d think the Legislative Council would realize that a few Texans would actually like to know what the Hell got filed this weekend, but evidently they think we’d rather remain in the dark.
