Where Are You People Coming From?

I must say, there have been a lot of people trapsing through the Annex lately. And, I’m very, very glad to have you joining us.
I’m just wondering: where are you all coming from? I’ve noticed that most of our hits are now “direct referrals,” meaning that, for for most visitors, they actually type “www.capitolannex.com” in that little window thingy in their browser as opposed to following a link from another site. For the previous four months or so, it was the other way around and seemed as though everyone came here from somewhere else.
No matter! I’m glad you’ve found the Annex, though I nearly had a stroke when I saw that 44 people are now getting our feed through Feedburner. Wow. And, I was *quite* flattered the other day when I noticed that not one but two journalists had subscribed to our email feed via Feedblitz which, depending upon how their script is behaving, shows somewhere between three and six subscriptions at any given moment.
There’s also been a noticable uptick in the number of people leaving comments. We love comments. If you like, use this as an “open thread” to tell us how you got here, what you like, what you don’t like and what you’d like to see more of here in the Annex. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go polish the bust of Gib Lewis over by the stairwell.
[Yes, that was a reference to the real capitol Annex in Austin. I do not have bronze busts of former house speakers in my living room, nor do I have a stairwell.]

Hey, Vince. I found you through a link on Off the Kuff not so long ago and have been a daily reader ever since. I have you bookmarked!
I found you when you linked my site! Now you are one of my stops everyday!
Not sure how I first arrived – a link from Kuff or EOW or one of the other TX politico blogs.
And I’m picking up your feed from Bloglines, which may or may not show up on Feedburner. Bloglines tells me I’m the only subscriber through them, though, so maybe you actually have 45…
I surfed in on a Technorati search for Feedburner.
Was looking for CD-22 stuff. Please post more.
