New Press Releases In Press Room; Blogger Stuff At Blogger’s Caucus

A couple of notes about Capitol Annex’s Press Room and about the informal “Blogger’s Caucus” site:

Last night, I tried my best to get caught up on posting press releases in Press Room.
There are a number of posts of press releases sent out from legislators on the tax bills, which may be of interest to readers as well as local bloggers who cover particular legislatures. In addition, there are some congressional releases I was late in posting but which are still timely. Via the FeedBlitz email I got this morning, the five newest releases are:

Congressman Cuellar Debates Defense Amendment: Goode Amendment Is ‘BAD’ For U.S.-Mexico Border
Rep. Armando “Mando” Martinez Announces Texas HHS Services Call Center Roll Out Freeze
MEDIA ADVISORY: Reps. Gonzalez And Cuellar Stand Up For Cuts Against Student Loans
Short Session Yields Long Strides For School Funding Reform

Rep. Homer Gives His Approval For House Bill 1

I’m trying to make Press Room the best resource possible for free distribution of press releases from Texas elected officials & candidates so, if you aren’t seeing press releases from a candidate or officeholder you work for or with, check out the guidelines as posted there and please add me to your distribution lists. Also, you can subscribe to Press Room’s RSS feeds just like those here at Capitol Annex, and can even use Feed Blitz (in the sidebar) to get Press Room delivered daily by email. Of course, you can do the same with Capitol Annex. It’s in the sidebar under “Duplicate Bill” just above “Interim Report,” which is the Dubua Count Down.

Also, a word to Democratic Bloggers: please check out Blogger’s Caucus, a site I’ve set up to keep track of stuff related to the TDP Convention next month and the place where you can find a credentials application, info sent out by the TDP concerning credentialing, and info about the Blogger’s Caucus party at Flying Saucer. Check out the site; hope to see you there!
