Some Convention Thoughts…

The New Mexico Secretary of State is speaking right now, but because of my position on the floor (literally due to dead battery) and trying to upload a file of an interview I just did with Sen. Barrientos, I’m just going to give some running commentary for a bit.
First off, this lady is a very good speaker, but I think a lot of the audience isn’t paying attention to her for some reason. Applause is somewhat sparse, which is sad because she is making excellent points and has good delivery.
We’ve also been advised that we won’t have power at the blogger’s table tomorrow. That’s not good. It looks like Phillip Martin of BOR fame is trying to negotiate something with Hecto, though.
Musings is now sitting next to me on the floor.
They are introducing Sen Van d Putte. I’ve got the prepared text of her remarks so I’ll post those later.
