Play DeLay’s Dollars

I’m not sure what kind of computer gurus Nick Lampson has on his staff, but they are pretty impressive, because they’ve designed an online game called DeLay’s Dollars (here, at its own URL) that is both amusing and impressive from the standpoint of having such computing talent on a campaign staff.
I think some bloggers may have already mentioned this game, but I don’t recall seeing it. Carrie Chess, Lampson’s campaign press secretary, asked me if I had seen the game during the Blogger’s Caucus Friday night in Fort Worth. I told her I would check it out. It’s pretty entertaining. The website describes the game this way:
In “DeLay’s Dollars,” you play the role of Tom DeLay, and your job is to collect as much money as you can before the November 2006 elections — while dodging the subpoenas, criminal evidence, and ethics violations that are heading your way.
To play, you move your mouse left and right to catch the falling money, but be sure to avoid subpoenas and criminal evidence or you’ll lose TX-22 support!
Though we’re presently “without DeLay” this game is an excellent way to remember all the fun times he’s had.

DeLay cast his first ballot in Virginia…
..he’s gone and done..run out by the liberals!
I kept myself busy for about an hour at work yesterday! It’s a great game created by a great candidate.
First, thank you for the nice things you said about me in the piece you had in the Dallas blog.
Second, there is much weirdness happening in Ft. Bend-over County with the replace DeLay effort. I can’t write about it without screaming.
BWAH HAR HAR!
Thanks for this one and kudos to the Lampson team! You just wasted an hour of me and my hubby’s time!
