Redistricting Ruling: Link, Breakdown of Court Votes

Here is a .pdf of the high court’s ruling. I will dissect this when I have time.
Justice Kennedy wrote the opinion; Scalia wrote a concurrence relating to part of the opinion with Chief Justice Roberts, Alito & Thomas.
Chief Justice Roberts wrote his own concurrence, too, joined by Alito.
Breyer concurred in part and dissented in part.
Souter concurred and dissented in part, joined by Ginsburg.
Of course, Kennedy, in his opinion, threw the 1990s redistrictings back at the Dems; pure partisanship by the Court.
Oh, if Earl Warren & Felix Frankfruter were alive today. Instead, they’ve probably been rolling in their graves all this week.
