Barbara Radnofsky: Up In The Polls, Radio Ads To Roll Out

By Vince Leibowitz  on Jul 24, 2006 in 2006 Texas Elections

I haven’t seen anything online yet, but I have heard that Kay Bailey Hutchison is down to around 52 percent in the latest Zogby poll, with Radnofsky now up to 37 percent.

In addition, Barbara’s campaign is rolling out a set of radio ads to boost statewide name recognition on July 31. You can listen to the ads (one of which features Olympian Carol Lewis) here.

While you’re at it, don’t forget to register for Zogby Interactive polling so your voice can be heard in regard to this and other races.

[...] According to the latest Wall Street Journal/Zogby poll, the race for the senate in Texas is now at 52-37% for Hutchison. That’s a two-point jump for Radnofsky and another point down for KBH. In fact, that would put her down a full 17 points from this time last year. [...]

Your headline was true, but misleading. I thought that Radnofsky’s progress was going to be big, actually putting a dent in KBH’s lead. Instead, there seems to have been a three point swing, which is probably inside the poll’s margin of error. My bet is that no one in KBH’s office is worried about a fifteen point lead disappearing any time soon.
