Austin’s Public Strategies Sold

Public Strategies, the Austin consulting firm that over the years has been home to the likes of Ann Richards and Ken Bentsen has been sold.
WPP Group PLC, with offices in Mexico City, the U.S. and London, said it will buy Public Strategies for an undisclosed price. Public Strategies reportedly had revenue of $38.5 million in 2005 with assets $2.3 million.
