Phillip at Burnt Orange Report has done an excellent job keeping track of what’s going on with the Office of State-Federal Relations, which is up for Sunset Review. You’ll also recall I had a story on the Sunset Commission’s staff report about a month ago.
After you read Phillip’s post (linked above), check out this letter that State Rep. Jim Dunnam (D-Waco) sent to Sen. Brimmer, chair of the Commission, asking him to make good on his promises to actually investigate the DeLay/Abramoff crony lobby contracts the state is shelling out big bucks for.
