Gene Kelly: Resurrection

That’s right, folks. Gene Kelly (not the dancer but the man by the same name who has been trying to foil Democratic candidates with his famous name for years) is running for office…again.
This time, he’s thrown his hat into the ring in Congressional District 21. Luckily, John Courage has good name recognition in the district. Incumbent Lamar Smith (R-San Antonio) will, of course, be focusing most of his interest on Courage and ignorning Kelly.
I don’t quite see why Kelly insists on running for office. Surely the trouncing he got in the runoff should have taught him something.
The saddest thing about Gene Kelly is that he probably doesn’t have a computer and is totally unaware of how badly bloggers poke fun at him.
