Joe Barton Says The Price Of Gas Is Not As Bad As It Seems

Congressman Barton, have you had a reality check lately?

Rep. Joe Barton (R-Ennis) doesn’t think gas prices are all that bad. Here’s what he had to say at a recent town hall meeting in Corsicana:

“The truth is, the price of gas is not as bad as it seems, when you compare it to other price indices,” Barton told the meeting.

I’m sorry, but I haven’t seen anyone paying $9.73 for a gallon of milk or $6.75 for a head of leuttice yet.
