A Few Notes Of Administrativa

I finally got a related links plug-in working. Unfortunatly, I couldn’t get one of the plug-ins working that automatically configures the related links, so I’ve got to select them manually by searching. That’s all right, though, because I can actually pick the links I want to target pretty easily. You’ll notice the “related links” under the posts right after the social bookmarks tool and before the comments. So, if you want the related links for posts that aren’t split, make sure you click on the headline of the post to go to the permalink.

I’m also in the process of adding a few more plug-ins for added functionality.

In addition, I have decided, due to the usual volume of daily posts, to start using the post-break feature on all long posts that aren’t admin notices. I’ve changed the coding (which was a pain to figure out) to have a full line that says “Click Here To Continue Reading This Post,” that you’ve likely seen on the posts this morning.

Capitol Annex mailing lists: You can subscribe here. Like Press Room, they went on a brief hiatus so I could get a little rest in anticipation of the upcoming electoral frenzy, but they’ll be starting back up this weekend.

FeedBlitz: You can receive a notification of posts in your email inbox by using the FeedBlitz subscription form in the right hand sidebar under the heading “Duplicate Bill.”
