CCA Will Consider Reinstating Conspiracy Charge Against DeLay

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals will consider reinstating the conspiracy charge against Tom DeLay, which was thrown out by a state district judge in Travis County earlier this year.

DeLay along with two others was originally indicted on money laundering and conspiracy charges stemming from fund-raising and campaign finance activities by his Texans for a Republican Majority PAC during the 2002 election cycle.
