Open Thread: Taking The Weekend Off

By Vince Leibowitz  on Sep 29, 2006 in Admin

Consider this an open thread, since Friday is usually a slow-traffic day anyway.

I’m heading off to Houston for my grandmother’s 87th Birthday Party and some other activities as well.
Enjoy, and play nice while I’m gone. I’ll return Sunday.

Hey Vince, if you (or your readers) are in town next weekend, come by Grits’ happy hour in Austin. Go here for details.

Have a great time in Houston. I did recently. Best,

I suppose I’m being catty here, but driving past one of Shelly Sekula-Rodriguez-Gibs-McCormick’s billboard photos, all I could think was; ‘Velociraptor.’

    3rd Court of Appeals (0.00 / 0)
Please pay attention to this race-it was so important that the Travis County Democrats had to post an “alert” about this court.
I used to work for that court-Our party is not telling the truth! They work harder than Trial Judges-just go by the Travis COunty Courthouse on a Friday afternoon and look at the front parking lot-NO ONE IS THERE!! I’m about to switch parties because alot of Democrats work there, but we are being put down with the R’s. Hit Bush where it hurst-in the Congressional races.

I won’t stand for dirty politics and lying - we aren’t Tom Delay!
