The Japanese Know Who Rick Perry Is…And Would Not Vote For Him.

God bless Anita Perry. She’s a smart lady and no doubt has more compassion for people than her husband. But, I don’t know how many votes she’s going to win for her husband with appearances like this one in Waxahachie (she’s havin’ a bus tour, ya’ll!!):

Telling the crowd of her recent trip to Japan, Perry noted the foreign capital investments which Texas has received during her husband’s administration, of which Japan’s $129 million ranks it fifth behind the likes of Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico.

The Japanese, the first lady said, “know who Rick Perry is.”

So the Japanese know who Rick Perry is. Question is, would they vote for him? I doubt it. He didn’t let them build the Trans Texas Corridor. That honor went to Spain.

So, if when Rick Perry fails in his bid to become Texas’ longest serving governor, perhaps Chris Bell can rid Texas of him once and for all…by appointing him Cultural Emissary to the Empire of Japan.

After all, the Japanese know who Rick Perry is.
