Citizen QU To Friedman: Will you have a cigar in mouth daily, kids will see and start a bad habit?
Friedman: Our first and most greatest visionary governor was an opium addict and drunkard. He was a great governor but not a good role model. Will definately smoke cigars.
Question for Perry: Why are the people of Texas not given right to vote on TTC and related tolled hwys:
PERRY: The people had the opportunity to vote on a substantial ampount of that in a constitutional amendment two years ago and it has been debated I don’t know how many legislative sessions. We came back in 2003 and 2005 and made changes to the TTC language so the farmers and ranchers and theat their land aht the process of eminent domain would be appropriately handled. The people have voted and sent a clear message and i have an idea about those kids that left Austin that just now got here six hrs ago for TX OU will be happy when open.
STRAYHORN: How stop TTC.
Strayhorn: I’m going to black the trans Texas cat right off the book. Gov, people never been allowed to vote on it..called it a boondogle. I will bust that contract, we will repeal that legislatiopn, and IU’m sure cooler heads will prevail. If cooler heads do not prevail I will get out my mighty veto pen on any dollars going to Trans Texas Catostrophie. Bla bla bla bla. We have the money to have freeways on existing right of ways.
FOR BELL: Do you pledge to veto any and all higher edbills that don’t end deregulation.
BELL”: we’re going to have to focus on tuition deregulation …it’s absurd and we need to make it affordable for middle class families. Want to go back and talk about TTC> IN 2001, she recommended building more toll roads and boy did rick perry take that advice; it’s basically a landgrab to benefit one spanish contractor.
