Isn’t It A Bit Late For John Culberson To Be Running From The Administration?
By Vince Leibowitz on Oct 19, 2006 in 2006 Texas Elections
John Culberson has been one of the Bush Administrations’ favorite lapdogs in Congress. But, with Jim Henley proving to be a more than credible opponent who stands to put Culberson in serious danger—which, combined with anti-Republican sentiment could mean Culberson is totally toast—he’s suddenly had a change of heart:
U.S. Rep. John Culberson, who has been a strong supporter of the administration’s policies in Iraq, said Wednesday that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has made “spectacularly bad decisions,” but stopped short of calling for his ouster.
What? What! What? It’s taken him this long to realize that Donald Rumsfeld has made “spectacularly bad decisions?”
What is it with John Culberson? Did he just stick his finger in the air, decide the wind was blowing differently when he woke up Wednesday morning, and determine it was time to change positions?
That’s the only explaination. Otherwise, he’d have spoken out sooner.

i got a culberson mailer today asking for money for his campaign. it talked about evil immigrants mostly with a pic of him standing with armed folks on the border. and that was the entire ad. culberson needs money-good luck! if i can find it will email u the scan. my neighborhood is very diverse and moderate. how is an ad about the evil immigrants going to help? go jim
Anyway,
the wind blows and so does Culberson. He’s probably lost without the Hammer to pogey behind. Somebody must be reading the news to him. Kay Bailey smelled the same coffee last week.
