Yesterday, Barbara Radnofsky Made History

By Vince Leibowitz  on Oct 20, 2006 in 2006 Texas Elections

Yesterday, Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Barbara Radnofsky made history.

She made history by holding Kay Bailey Hutchison accountable.

As of yesterday, it has been 4,364 days since she defeated Richard Fisher in the 1994 election. That means it has been 4.364 days since anyone seriously held Kay Bailey Hutchison accountable for anything.

Yet, 11 years, 11 months, and 12 days after that, Barbara Radnofsky forced Kay Bailey Hutchison into a debate in which she backpedaled and found herself defending  13 total years of ineffectiveness, and failure to do anything substantial for the people of Texas.

Thank you, Barbara Radnofsky…you finally held Kay Bailey Hutchison accountable.

Ms Radnofsky spoke with clarity and passion, carried the truth out into the open —and Sen Hutchison babbled. Hutchison tried to blame George, but clear-headed people must see that we can’t elect officials to back up other officials! This is supposed to be a system of checks and balances for crying out loud.
