HD 11: Durrett’s Son & Campaign Staffer Arrested For DWI

HD 32 isn’t the only race in Texas with some last-minute strange goings on that don’t favor the Republican candidate.
In HD 11, where Larry Durrett is trying to unseat Chuck Hopson (D-Jacksonville), his campaign has earned some negative attention because his son, Kenneth Durrett was recently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B Misdemeanor.
The younger Durrett has been working for his father’s campaign as a “consultant” since this summer.
