HD 107: Bill Keffer On His Defeat

Bill Keffer just sent out the following statement to people in HD 107 on his defeat. Please note he calls what happened in Dallas County a “tidal wave:”

Well, you’re going to have a “new” friend of District 107, when the state legislature convenes next Spring. Unfortunately, we were unable to withstand the countywide tidal wave of Democrat voters and lost our bid for re-election to Allen Vaught by 1092 votes. I’m so sorry. District 107 is not a Democrat district, but that is who will be representing us at least for the next two years. Of course, I wish Allen well. And to all of you, who have been so supportive during my past 4 years as your state representative, I simply say “thank you.”

I simply don’t know how he can say it’s not a Democratic district now.
