Pete Sessions Wants To Chair The NRCC
By Vince Leibowitz on Nov 10, 2006 in 2006 Texas Elections, Texas Congressional Delegation
Via Hotline, Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Dallas) will have some serious company in seeking the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee.
Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) and Phil English (R-PA) are already out for the job. One plus for Sessions is that he has one of the largest state Republican delegations to support him.
Given the NRCC’s nasty robocall antics this cycle, however, I can’t think of a person more fitting than Pete Sessions to head that body. He’ll fit right in.
