An Early Christmas Present From The Texas Legislature

By Vince Leibowitz  on Nov 16, 2006 in Texas Legislature

It’s like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one:

The Texas Legislature has RSS feeds for new bills, fiscal notes and bill analysis.

I know this means nothing to half the people reading this blog, but to me and some people, this is the same as if Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Jesus and Bill Clinton showed up on your doorstep on Christmas Morning with a case of Grey Goose and a handfull of new legislative programs so progressive even Nancy Pelosi would blush.
Being able to read the bills filed via Bloglines without doing it the old way (i.e. typing in bill numbers one after the other) is a Godsend.

The best Christmas present from the Texas Lege would be for them all go to Oklahoma instead of Austin, perhaps even the Yukon Territory.
