Reader’s Choice: Final Round

By Vince Leibowitz  on Dec 11, 2006 in Best & Worst Of 2006

The votes in the first round of the Capitol Annex Reader’s Choice Awards have been counted and let me tell you: it’s quite interesting.

Sadly, one of the most nominated things in nearly every category was Rick Perry saying “Mo Fo.” However, since that happened in 2005, it didn’t make it into the finals.

The “best” blogs categories are interesting, too. Two CD 22 blogs, Musings and “World’s Most Dangerous Beauty Salon” (though not strictly a blog) garnered enough votes to get in the finals both in the “Best Blog” and “Best Regional Blog” category. And, CD-22 blogs dominated the regional category like nobody’s business.

Vote in the final round here! You have until the 20th! Also, thanks to all of the extra nominations in our last two questions in the first survey, we’ve got some awesome “honorable mentions” to include when we tabulate the final responses.

Remember: it’s all YOUR CHOICE because YOU are the readers.
