It’s the second day of the year, the Lege will be in session in less than a week, and the Blogsphere seems as dead as a proverbial doornail.

What’s up with that? And why does the Secret Service Guy standing next to Dick Cheney on CSPAN’s unending Ford Funeral Coverage seem to look like he could be Jack Abramoff’s twin?

See? See what happens when you have an unintended holiday mid-week immediately after another holiday? You get me commenting on CSpan.

That aside, however, I want to direct everyone to a new blog…perhaps I already have, but I don’t remember doing so.

Take a minute if you have one (you know you do) and visit Billy Clyde’s Political Hot Tub Party. No, we don’t know if the name for the blog was taken from the amusing deposition that mentions a certain senator (but was buy someone else) and a certain hot tub party that has been floating around Texas for three years, but it is worth a read anyway.

Who writes the blog? I haven’t a clue. It is yet another “anonomous” writer. Whomever it is, they appear to be connected, though.
