Liveblogging The…Senate?

No problem getting the feed from the Senate Chamber. Evidently not too many people are interested in what’s going on there. They are taking the oath right now… We’ll keep following this until we can get feed from the House. Lord, the gallery in the Senate looks empty.
Nominations for Senate Pro Tem right now. Dean of the Senate John Whitmire is nominating Mario Gallegos (D-Houston) as the Pro Tem.
More liveblogging after the jump…maybe someone will jump off the live feed in a while and I’ll get on in the House.
