What Will Happen In One Hour?

In about an hour, the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate will convene.
After swearing-in ceremonies in both chambers, each chamber will debate its own rules and elect its officers.
In the House, that’s where all eyes will be on House Speaker Tom Craddick and Rep. Jim Pitts. Far more exciting than the race for President Pro Tem in the Senate, however, will be the debate over the “two thirds” rule.
We’ll try to watch over both debates and keep you posted on what is going on.
