TWDB, City of Dallas Sue Over East Texas Wildlife Refuge

Can’t say I didn’t see this coming:
The Texas Water Development Board and the city of Dallas filed separate lawsuits Wednesday against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service over the agency’s creation of a refuge on East Texas land that Dallas has long considered for a future reservoir.
Over the summer, we brought you several stories about this refuge and the controversy surrounding it. It is, of course, part of the land being eyed for the Fastrill Reservoir which would be a brand new water source for the Dallas Metroplex.
This is also something that I would expect to become more commonplace as Texas’s water needs grow and change.
