The Rolling Of Heads Will Commence…Now!

As if we didn’t know this was coming:
As many as a dozen committees, maybe more, will get new chairmen, either to replace former legislators who lost races for re-election or higher office last year or to replace chairmen who were part of the unsuccessful coup and whose heads will now roll.
Perhaps the new House rules could have increased the size of the Agriculture Committee to oh…I don’t know…55 members or so, so Craddick could just back bench everyone he needs to in one easy move.
The move to depose Craddick will no doubt result in new leadership faces in the House. I don’t believe anyone thought that we’d see a “kinder, gentler” Craddick in the chair, freshly humbled by the fact that so many House members wanted him gone, after he held on to his seat.
