Rep. Norma Chavez In Auto Accident

State Rep. Norma Chavez (D-El Paso) had a car accident during the ice storm in Austin, according to the El Paso Time’s new capitol blog, Vaqueros and Wonkeros which is written by Brandi Grissom of the ElPT’s Austin Bureau.
This is the third legislator in less than a month that has had something major happen to them health-wise. We wish Rep. Chavez, as well as Sen. Gallegos (who is in need of a liver transplant) and State Rep. Rene Oliveira, who just underwent heart bypass surgery, all the best.
