Advocate For Exploited Children Stops Short Of Advocating Dewhurst’s Version Of Death For Predators

Uh oh! Lt. Governor David Dewhurst’s idea that child predators should be executed isn’t necessarily favored by John Walsh, the longtime advocate for exploited children and host of “America’s Most Wanted:”

“My argument is that if they show that predilection, that progression toward violence, let’s keep them in prison forever,” Walsh said at a news conference with Dewhurst in the Capitol. “But maybe not the death penalty.”

I always thought, if you were going to have a “celebrity” endorsement of a proposal, you should make sure first that the endorser supports your proposal one hundred percent.

This kind of reminds me of Secretary of State Roger Williams appointing that guy who hadn’t voted in 15 years as an ambassador of voting.
