Vice President Kay? But Which One?

Oh, but which one? Two of Texas’ Kay’s are now being mentioned as potential Veep candidates.

One is Kay Granger, the former Fort Worth Mayor who is now vice chairwoman of the House Republican Conference.

And, of course, there is the Aging Prom Queen, who had a little face time with Mitt Romney the other day:

GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney met privately Monday in Dallas with Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, part of an unannounced two-day Texas trip to line up donors and support from key leaders such as the state’s senior senator.

Well, granted, Romney was probably asking The Breck Girl to help him with some fund-raising, but who knows…maybe they were talking about the perfect ticket?

And, wouldn’t that just goad Rick “I’m the Only Governor of Texas To Ever Mention An African Nation In My Inaugural Address” Perry to death? After all, we know The Virginia Ham wanted to be governor. And, since he’s sitting at 39 percent and she’s sitting on a zillion federal campaign dollars and a higher approval rating, she is a more likely candidate.
And, always remember: more Senators become Veeps than Governors….and, if I’m not mistaken the last House member to become Veep was…the late Gerald Ford. And that wasn’t by election.
