80th Legislature: Liveblogging HB 6 Hearing Before Culture Recreation & Tourism

Since the screenshot of the hearing of the House Committee on Culture, Recreation and Tourism above doesn’t show the whole room, I can’t tell if it is a more “full house” than it actually is, but I expected a much larger audience for today’s hearing on HB 6, which has 118 co-sponsors. Of course, since the Lege went so long this afternoon, it’s no surprise that there is a small crowd.
Anyway, here are some interesting quotes from George Briston of the Texas State Parks Advisory Board:
