CORRECTION: HB 8 POST

In yesterday’s post on HB 8, “80th Legislature: House Passes Jessica’s Law,” Capitol Annex incorrectly attributed a quote from Rep. Eddie Rodriguez (D-Austin) to Rep. Trey Martinez Fischer (D-San Antonio).
We have corrected this error in the original post.
Capitol Annex sincerely regrets this error and any confusion it may have caused to either Representative. Our only excuse is that we had a number of releases from many days open on our computer and inadvertantly misattributed the quote.
Please accept our appologies for this error.
