Amid Massive Scandal, Alberto Gonzales Comes To Houston

U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, currently embroiled in a major scandal over the firing of several U.S. Attorneys, has taken time from his busy schedule of blame-shifting and blame-dodging to come to Texas.
In about 15 minutes, Gonzales will be delivering the keynote address the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 30th Anniversary Luncheon.
While I’m sure Gonzales appearence was planned months in advance, it is still interesting that he’s keeping the engagement as the sky falls in on the U.S. Department of Justice over his gross mismanagement there.
