Truitt Keeps Asking About Football

By Vince Leibowitz  on Mar 30, 2007 in 80th Legislature

Evidently there was a football game between the senior and junior members of the House the other night. Vicki Truitt has raised two points of order to ask about this. The score was allegedly 21-0 or something with the senior members winning.

Craddick just asked her if she was the quarterback. Evidently, lack of sleep and the sometimes glaicial pace of all this is making folks a little too happy-go-lucky. Nonetheless, it is amusing, but I’d rather see Senfronia Thompson arguing with Wayne Christian over Amendment 133 because that’d be far more exciting.

On a side note, I wonder if any legislators were injured during the game and, if so, would they qualify for Workman’s Comp?

Lucio III is up now to congratulate over the football game. Oh, Lucio III also just answered my question saying no one got hurt.

Truitt’s drunk - that’s the joke they’re all really giggling about.
