Motion For A New Speaker’s Race?

We’ve had two tips this morning that there will be a motion on the House Floor today to hold a new speaker’s race. Under House rules, this can be done at any time, as I understand it.
WE CAUTION: Capitol Annex is unfamiliar with the new tipsters who advised us of this, so we cannot speak to the accuracy of the tips. Furthermore, given the important business facing the House, we find it difficult to believe members would want to take up time with this parlimentary procedure. However, we would advise that we feel it is appropriate to publish as, for historic purposes, it gives some idea of the mood of the house when folks are leaking stuff like this.
