By now, most readers of this blog are no doubt aware that Karl Rove is resigning from his position in the Bush Administration.
The biggest question on the horizon for Texans, however, isn’t whether Rove did so because he is fearful of an indictment, but what Texas politician Rove will be doing work for next.
Newshogs speculate it could be Texas Governor Rick Perry, who seems to be positioning himself for a Veep spot.
Of course, Rove also has a history of working for and with U.S. Senator John Cornyn, even to the point of doing fund-raising for him. Could it be that we’ll see Rove working for Cornyn’s campaign in the near future? Don’t count it out: Cornyn is in just bad enough shape to be so desperate.
