On Capitol Annex’s Mention At Texas Monthly

Paul Burka at Texas Monthly referred to a http://www.texasmonthly.com/blogs/burkablog/2007/09/speakers-race-el-paso.php yesterday in his post about legislative races in El Paso. That post includes (as of 11:31 this morning), the following statement:
Moreno told Capitol Annex he “thought” Craddick recruited Marquez. She responds that no one recruited her for the office.
As we’ve noted twice in the comments on Burka Blog, this is not correct. Capitol Annex was quoting the El Paso Times article by Brandi Grissom. We didn’t interview Paul Moreno. Hopefully, Mr. Burka will get this fixed, although those who read his blog through feed readers won’t see it.
We post this simply because we’ve received more than a dozen emails pointing the error out to us. We alerted Mr. Burka to the error yesterday when it came to our attention.
