TX HD 119: Puente To Retire

State Rep. Robert Puente (D-San Antonio) will announce his retirement this Saturday. Puente, a so-called “Craddick Democrat,” had been rumored to be retiring for several months.

A likely successor is progressive SA Southside City Councilman Roland Gutierrez, who we expect to announce a candidacy any day.
