2007 Texas Elections: Mesquite Liqour Elections Split

Via The Dallas Morning News:
A measure to allow the sale of liquor, beer and wine in Mesquite stores was losing by a narrow margin – 51 percent against to 49 percent for – after early voting.
A separate measure to allow the sale of liquor in restaurants without requiring a private club permit was passing, with 59 percent of ballots supporting the measure.
